Created in 2001, A Wider Circle's mission is "to help one individual and one family after another to rise out of poverty." This Montgomery County organization focuses on supporting individuals and families through, "provision of basic need items, workforce development, wraparound support and neighborhood revitalization." The Dick and Jody Vilardo Foundation has been able to support A Wider Circle through in-kind donations and volunteer opportunities. Our Friends of Jody collected and donated gently used woman's business attire and we have facilitated a group of volunteers to sort donations at the Center for Community Service.
