For the 2nd year during the Dick and Jody Memorial Golf Tournament, our Friends of Jody got together for an afternoon of Flowers and Philanthropy.  This event brings our Friends of Jody together surrounded by something Jody loved, flowers! Kelly Shore of Petals by the Shore shares the beauty and skill of flower arranging, guiding us to assemble the reception centerpieces.  

 

Like every Friends of Jody event, there were items created for charity. In 2016, we created care-taker packages and coloring/activity packages for the Children's Inn Thoughtful Treasures Program. In 2017, we collected non-perishable food items for Manna Food Center (214 lbs worth!) in addition to creating "Boo-Boo Bunnies" for The Children's Inn at NIH.  In 2018, we collected items for Caring Matters' Goof Grief Clubs and made sock puppets for the families at The Children's Inn at NIH.
