The Dick and Jody Vilardo Outdoor Patio

            On Wednesday December 21st, we officially dedicated the outdoor patio space at The Children's Inn in honor of Dick and Jody Vilardo.  We were joined by many of our friends, family, sponsors, and representatives from The Children's Inn.   This space is now here because of YOU and YOUR donations.   Thank you, thank you, thank you! 

           This area is the first outdoor gathering space, besides the playgrounds, where families can relax together.  A perfect place for families to take a break from the hospital rooms to breathe fresh air and relax outside.  A state of the art sound system (not pictured) was installed inside and outside that not only plays music,  but is used to communicate emergencies to the entire Inn and their families.  This space will also host children's events and parties which previously may have been limited to indoors.  Families can now enjoy time together on a chilly winter's day in the warmth of the fire pit listening to music, or on a warm summer's night looking up at the stars.   We know that Dick and Jody would have been proud of what this space provides.
