The Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless has been working to end homelessness in Montgomery County for over 20 years in the form of emergency shelters, permanent supportive housing and advocacy. The Dick and Jody Vilardo Foundation was put in touch with MCCH through a Board Member in the fall of 20117 and has sponsored a full Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings since 2017 (for 5 years) for the Home Builders Care Assessment Center (HBCAC). The HBCAC is a year round men's shelter serving approximately 750 men annually, with dinners 365 days a year provided solely through donations and volunteers. We look forward to continuing to support MCCH in their efforts to prevent and end homeless for families in Montgomery County.
